Updating Neocities
Building a site on Neocities is so much fun! It’s super hard, but I’m loving it.
Honestly, I’m not just making a regular blog like I used to. I’m building a whole village.
So far, I’ve got a cinema, a concert venue, a cafe, a housing area, a guestbook, and the latest addition: my very own house. Building my own house was definitely the best part.
The only downside is that I don’t really have anyone to share this milestone with. Whenever I tell people about it, they just don't get why I'm so hyped.
Maybe they think I’m just using a drag-and-drop builder, or picking templates like on WordPress or Blogspot. Uh, no. This is pure coding, okay?
And man, it's brutal. If I miss a single comma, the whole thing breaks. If I accidentally leave a space after a dot, everything vanishes. It’s pure torture, but that’s exactly where the challenge is.
I’m a bit exhausted today, so I’m taking a break from coding. Just spending some time reading posts here on Bear Blog.
There's such a peaceful vibe here because there are no heavy graphics and the colors are so minimal. It’s just really relaxing to read here.
